Expressionist

Poems are things you write when you feel things too big to say, and things too big to feel. Everything here is my own work, picked up from flashes and memories and small remarks that stayed with me. I hope you find something that stays with you

fantasy

Cotton candy clothing pins
Silky red draped on your shoulder
Chocolate hurt that doesn’t leave
Proud bold gold that never wins

I live in my fantasy
And you can live in yours
Filled with sirens and armies
Docking out to shore

The candyland that I live in
Isn’t what you think
Sugar is fake
It takes different shapes

When you try to blink

I love your world and all your things

There I know what to think

Red is bad and that is that
But here you slide down the
Sticky
Sugar
